The Experience

An emotional and natural horse photography experience for people who want more than just photos

A different kind of photoshoot

This horse photography experience is not about perfect poses.
It is about connection, presence and creating images that feel real. There is a difference between taking photos and truly experiencing a moment.

A horse photoshoot is often imagined as something structured, something you prepare for, something you need to get right. But over time, I have learned that the most meaningful images in horse photography are never created through control.

They grow out of presence.

The experience I offer is not about creating perfect situations. It is about creating a space where you and your horse can simply exist together, without pressure, without expectations and without the feeling of having to perform.

Many people come to me with the same quiet thoughts.

What if my horse does not stand still? What if I feel awkward? What if I do something wrong?

And every time, the answer is the same.

Nothing needs to be perfect. Your horse does not need to behave in a certain way.
You do not need to know what to do. There is no right or wrong in the way you show up.

Because this is not about posing.
This is about connection. This is what makes a natural and emotional horse photoshoot so special.

Time instead of pressure

Every horse photoshoot is guided by your horse and the natural rhythm of the moment. One of the most important parts of my work is something that is often missing in photography.

Time. There is no strict limit during your horse photoshoot. No feeling of needing to hurry from one moment to the next. We move slowly, we pause when needed and we allow your horse to settle into the environment.

This creates a completely different energy. Your horse relaxes.
You relax. And suddenly everything becomes softer.

Letting your horse be a horse

This is what makes natural and emotional horse photography so unique.

Your horse is not a prop. Your horse is not there to perform. And a horse photography session isn´t something that should make you feel pressured.

Your horse is allowed to move, to react, to express itself in its own way. Whether it is calm and still or curious and full of energy, everything is welcome.

These natural reactions are not something to control.
They are what make your images feel real. Many people are not used to being in front of a camera. And that is exactly why this experience is built differently.

You are not expected to pose.
You are not expected to know what to do. I guide you gently when needed, but most of the time I create a space where you can simply be present with your horse. And within that presence, something shifts.

You stop thinking about the camera.
You start feeling the moment.

This experience is not only about horse photography.

It is about the relationship you share. It is about the quiet moments you might not notice in everyday life.
It is about slowing down enough to feel them.

Whether you come with your horse, your dog or your family, the intention always remains the same. To create something that feels honest and deeply personal.

We choose a location that feels right for you. This might be close to your home, at the sea, in open landscapes or in a place that carries a certain feeling you are drawn to. We talk about light, atmosphere and the small details that make a difference, without ever turning it into something complicated.

Everything is guided by one question. What feels right to you AND your horse.

An experience that stays with you

Because a horse photography session is not just about images.
It is about what you felt in that moment.

Long after your horse photoshoot is over, what often remains is not just the images.

It is the feeling. The quiet time you spent with your horse. The moments where everything slowed down.
The connection that became visible in a way you might not have seen before. The images are there to hold that feeling.

But the experience itself is just as important. You do not need experience.
You do not need to prepare in a certain way. You do not need to worry about doing it right.

A horse photography session is not just about images.
It is about what you felt in that moment.

You only need to show up. Everything else will unfold naturally.

What I offer you…

  • I do not work with fixed time limits.
We take the time your horse needs.

  • You are free to bring the ones who belong to you.
There are no additional charges for including more than just one horse or for bringing your dog or family.

  • I guide you gently, but I will never ask you to perform.
What we create together grows out of real moments, not staged situations. The focus lies on who you really are.

  • You receive personal support throughout the entire process.
Before the shoot, during it and even after, when you are choosing your images.

  • If you wish, you can also access a small selection of carefully chosen shooting dresses that move naturally and fit the atmosphere we create.

  • After your session, you will receive a carefully curated personal gallery with around 200 to 500 images.
A quiet space where you can take your time to look through everything and choose the photographs that truly speak to you.

  • Your selected favorites will then be edited with great care and sent to you not only as digital files, but also as fine art prints in 13x19 cm and 20x30 cm.
They arrive in a personal package, something you can hold in your hands and return to whenever you want to feel those moments again.

You might feel at home here if…

… you don’t want to rush through a photoshoot, but prefer to take your time and allow things to unfold naturally

… you want your horse to be free to move and express itself, without pressure to stand still or perform

… you value quiet moments more than perfectly planned poses

… you would like to include everything that belongs to you, whether that is your dog, your family or simply the small details that matter to you

… you appreciate gentle guidance instead of strict direction

… you want to feel seen and understood, not just photographed

… you like the idea of being supported before and after your photoshoot, with space for questions, thoughts and ideas

… you are drawn to natural locations, soft light and a calm atmosphere

… you want images that feel timeless, rather than trendy

And maybe most of all…

… you are not looking for a perfect version of yourself, but for something that feels true.

Maybe this feels right for you

Sometimes you just know when something feels right.

Not because everything is perfect, but because it feels calm, honest and aligned with what you are looking for.

This experience might be for you if you are not searching for perfectly posed images, but for something that feels real.

If you want to remember how it felt, not just how it looked.
