Who I am.

About your horse photographer

My journey with horses began long before photography ever became part of my life.

I sat on a pony for the first time when I was two years old. By the age of five, I was already taking riding lessons, and shortly after, I had my first loan horse. Horses quickly became more than just a hobby. They became a constant part of my life, something that shaped the way I see and feel the world.

At the same time, I slowly discovered photography. At first with simple cameras, later with my first DSLR, I photographed every horse I could find. Back then, I did not know that horse photography could become something more. I simply followed what felt natural.

“One day, you will realise how quickly the time with your horse has passed. And in that moment, the memories you chose to keep will mean everything.”

When I was younger, I met a pony named Deiko.

He was one of those horses that changes everything. He taught me so much about trust, communication and the quiet connection between horse and human. Sadly, his life ended far too early and completely unexpectedly.

At that time, I had never heard of professional horse photography.
And because of that, I do not have the kind of images with him that I wish I had today.

This experience is one of the reasons why horse photography means so much to me.

Because I know how quickly moments can pass.
And how important it is to hold onto them while they are still here.

My approach to horse photography

My work is not about perfect poses or staged moments.

It is about creating a calm and safe space where you and your horse can simply be. Where nothing is forced and everything is allowed to unfold naturally. Every horse photoshoot is individual. I take the time to get to know you, your horse and your story. I guide where needed, but I never rush anything. For me, the wellbeing of your horse always comes first.

Your horse decides the rhythm of the session.
If your horse needs a break, we pause. If your horse feels uncomfortable, we adjust. And if the moment feels complete, we end the session.

Because no image is more important than the trust and comfort of your animal.

A slower, more personal way of working

Moving to Denmark has deepened this approach even more.

Life here has a different rhythm. Slower, quieter, more grounded.
And that has influenced the way I work in a very natural way.

I take more time.
I focus more on the feeling rather than the result.
And I allow each photoshoot to become something personal instead of something planned.

This is not just about horse photography.
It is about creating something that feels real.

Horse photography in Denmark and Northern Germany

Today, I offer natural and emotional horse photography in Denmark and Northern Germany.

My focus is always the same:
to capture the connection between you and your horse in a way that feels honest, calm and timeless.

Images that do not only show what it looked like,
but remind you of how it felt.

Some facts about me.

Birthday: 18 August 1993
Based in: Tønder, Sønderjylland, Denmark

born in Germany.

Languages: German, English and Danish (still learning).

I have been passionate about photography since childhood, working professionally since 2019 and full-time since 2021. Restart again in Denmark.

My favorite locations are open landscapes, heathland and wild meadows.
And my favorite light is the quiet kind. Fog, soft morning light, or even rain.

More than just a photographer.

If you choose me as your photographer, you are not just choosing someone with a camera.

You are choosing someone who has grown up with horses.
Someone who understands the quiet details, the small gestures and the unspoken connection between you and your animal.

I know how much these moments mean, because I have lived them myself.

And I know that every horse is different. Every story is different. And every bond deserves to be seen in its own way.

This is why I approach every horse photoshoot with care, patience and a deep respect for your horse and everything they are to you.
